ACKLIN DENOUNCES OUSTING OF STADIUM AUTHORITY CHAIRWOMAN
Pittsburgh - Independent mayoral candidate Kevin Acklin today criticized yesterday's decision of Mayor Ravenstahl to remove Stadium Authority Chairwoman Debbie Lestitian.
"Debbie has always been strong and independent voice for the residents of our City."
"It's unfortunate that there seems to be a pattern by this Mayor to remove public servants who attempt to serve the public good over doing his dirty work."
"As Mayor I want the best and brightest to serve our City. I will value the independence of every appointee to City boards and authorities and I will never ask them to serve any cause other than best interests the people of Pittsburgh."
